Spring is right around the corner, and to welcome the season a little early, I’ve been buying and arranging tulips all over the place.
But tulips aren’t cheap, so I follow a couple great tips to keep tulips from drooping over, and to prolong the life of cut flowers.

The secret is in the penny and a tablespoon of bleach.
Place a penny on the bottom of the vase with water. This keeps the tulips from drooping. Sounds silly, but this tip seriously works!
Mix a tablespoon of bleach in with the water. This keeps the water clear, and prevents new bacteria from growing, hence prolonging the life of your flowers.
By following these tips, you can prolong the life of your bouquets, and tiptoe through the tulips for a little longer.
