Thanksgiving is two weeks from today, and that means that you need to plan and make your finishing touches on your Thanksgiving menu. Every year, I try to incorporate a new dish to the party and still cook up our tried and true Thanksgiving dishes that our family counts on year after year.
To keep myself organized for holiday meals, I print out and / or photocopy recipes and store them in a designated pocket folder. This way, all of the recipes are together in one spot, and I don’t have multiple cookbooks and my laptop open and scattered on the counters. You can read about that Quick Tip here.
Of course the turkey is the main character for Thanksgiving meals, but to me, it’s the sides that are the show stoppers. Here are a few show-stopping side dishes for you to consider making for your Thanksgiving meal. And, you can print the recipes and keep them in your Thanksgiving folder.
