Welcome to the Fedigan Farmhouse. Today, I would love to share my Christmas decorations with you.
I have to admit, one of the reasons I wanted an old farmhouse was to be able decorate it for Christmas. As I love to preserve things and bring nature inside when I decorate, an old farmhouse brings a bit of a rustic look to Christmas which is exactly what I like to see.
There is another reason too — I love Martha Stewart. I do. And I watched her show waaaaay back in the early 90’s and sat on my couch enthralled in her Christmas decorating segments when she had her old farmhouse on Turkey Hill Road in Westport, CT. Those shows always inspired me, and made me long for an old farmhouse even more.
But back to me and my Holiday Home Tour. Come on in and let me show you around.
Let’s start in the living room..
The stairway in the foyer
Moving in to the dining room..
I love to use greenery as a table runner
Here is the holiday arrangement. See the post on how I created it here.
The Kitchen..
Star Anise wreath
And the Den..
I hope you enjoyed my Holiday Home Tour. What is your favorite decoration you use year after year?

I love this blog!! Most of all, I admire your unapologetic desire to keep a pretty home. I love to do the same, but often get comments from friends about how "Martha Stewart" I am, and believe me, it is never meant as a compliment! But why not? If you like to decorate, or bake, or create, and your home is your canvas, I say embrace it! Keep on posting!
