This past weekend was all about the yard. I shared yesterday about our garden clean up, and we still had miles to go to get our yard in check.
Our entire yard was a blanket of leaves. And for a while, leaves are really fun. The kids (and Hudson) loved jumping and playing in the leaves. And while they were happily playing in the leaves, I was stressing out about ticks. Luckily, none were found!
But back to the copious amount of leaves. Talk about a daunting task. You would think that we would have more than exactly one rake, but for some very convenient reason, we do not. We needed man power, and we got it, calling in the Wizard to give us a hand.
There’s nothing like the sound of a big diesel truck full of hard-workers, backing into our driveway, with the trailer full of equipment that puts our lone rake to shame.
These guys got to work right away. They had leaf blowers. Power-blower-thingies. Lawn mowers. Weed wackers. And the most ironic thing, no rake on that truck. Not one.
But they didn’t need one with all that power stuff. They worked together, dividing our yard into sections.
And they showed those leaves who’s the boss.
After a few hours, our yard is clean. The Lawn Wizard did such a great job with our yard clean up. We are so grateful.
Imagine how long it would have taken us just with our rake?! We certainly wouldn’t have had that cherished time to play on the tire swing.
Thanks, Lawn Wizard!

The Lawn Wizard has been with us for the past 10 years. Started out at our old house in Wappingers and now the last 4 years in Lagrangeville. They Rock!
