At Christmastime, pine needles are like dog hair. No matter how much you vacuum, they are still everywhere.
Well I have a little solution that will curb the amount of needles your tree loses on a daily basis.
Enter today’s Quick Tip Friday.
Vitamin C.
Yes, a few mg’s of vitamin C every couple days will curb the amount of needles your tree loses.
There are many common practices of adding something to the water of Christmas tree stands to keep trees alive longer. Anything to keep the needles green and on the tree is worth a shot, right?!
I’ve been adding vitamin C to our tree water for years, and I’m standing behind my theory. Just add 2 to 3 tablets of vitamin C every 2 days or so. You’ll still have some needle loss, but not like you would have without the vitamin C. Give it a shot.
