I have this Chef’s Choice sharpener, and I swear by it, but there are also many other sharpeners out there that sharpen knives well.
Depending on what I’m cutting, I find that on average I sharpen my knives every third to forth use. I would recommend this practice as well.
It pays to take proper care of your knives, and to keep them sharpened, If you don’t have a knife sharpener, you can always take your knives to a professional to sharpen them, just to tide you over until you can get your own sharpener.
