When we don’t have words, chocolate sure speaks volumes.
Ain’t this the truth.
There seems to be 3 main things that are associated with Valentine’s Day: romance, roses, and chocolate.
I’m starting to think that Valentine’s Day is winter’s version of Halloween. Candy and sweets everywhere, and I’m certainly on this bandwagon.
And since we’re celebrating Chocolate Week around here, let me introduce these Chocolate Meringues to you.
Pretty easy to make, and the oven does most of the work.
In short, all you have to do is make the chocolate meringue, pipe it into a circle on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and let them dry out in the oven over night.
These Chocolate Meringues are crispy on the outside, and chocolate-y chewy goodness on the inside.
A perfect accompaniment to ice cream and fresh berries.
D-lish!

This post is so beautiful! I’ve never tried to make meringue before but I think I’ve just found my March baking goal. It’s almost too pretty to eat, almost 🙂 Coco
