Birthdays and parties and tag sales, OH MY!
April was a busy month and I found that I kept tripping over my own feet. But I wouldn’t trade a single minute.
As I sit here and write, I am welcomed by a little mama bird that has made her nest outside my studio window on our front porch. Her song is beautiful and I’m happy she is comfortable there. All I ask of her is to please not poop on our porch. We’ll see how that goes.
In other Keeping Fed news:
I was honored to be featured for my ninth time in the Poughkeepsie Journal. You can check out that feature here.
I found this medicine cabinet on the Hudson Valley Tag Sale site and am going to start painting it today. I’m thinking a crisp white.
On my way to the busiest and best tag sale ever yesterday (yes, I will be blogging about this tag sale next week), I drove by this piece of Americana. So terrific.
I almost got a whip lash when Sean slammed on the breaks for this cool chair sitting on the side of the rode. Stay tuned for that transformation. Thanks, neighbor.
And speaking of neighbors, this one strolled by our house yesterday to say hello.
I love living in the country!
And after working on projects all day, I am going to relish sitting on our back porch, taking in the serenity.
Cheers to April!
Thanks for Keeping Fed!

I was surprised and delighted to see the photo of the decorated pick-up. I’m guessing you were heading to the wonderful Elephants Trunk. I live in Wisconsin now but grew up in New Milford. I passed that pick-up and its changing decorations every day for 10 years. They do an amazing July 4th display and a beautiful Christmas tree also. Yes, I’m more than a little homesick, so thanks for making me smile.

Candice, how funny that you know this truck. We were close to Elephants Trunk, but we were at an Estate Sale. Our house is about an hr away in the Hudson Valley. Now I will be doing an internet search for more photos of that truck decorated… Lol Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by Keeping Fed.

I love your porch. Good luck with the mama bird not pooping…’cause that’s what birds do best, lol. Thank you for sharing at Thursday Favorite Things. Hope you have a fabulous day!

You’ve had such a busy month! I know you’re ready to relax on that beautiful porch. I love it. I saw the horse post on IG and it gave me the giggles. It made my day. Hugs, CoCo
