That cabin fever that we felt this past winter turned out to be a little bit of a benefit.
Turns out, being cooped up in our house forced us to face the fact that we really needed to do some spring cleaning. Like, big time!
We had a spot (on the larger size) in the basement that was garbage storage for things that just wouldn’t fit in our regular trash can. Same with the garage. And the barn. And the attic. And the tool room.
Ok, you get the gist.
All this stuff started taking over our psyche, not to mention space. The time had come to do some serious donating and throwing away. So I called up our friends at Royal Carting and had a dumpster delivered.
I loaded up my car and took a huge load of stuff to Goodwill to donate, and then we got busy cleaning out and filling up that dumpster.
Broken easels, cracked coolers and a corroded water heater, oh my!
Bye. Bye.
We did some spring cleaning, royally!! And let me tell you, it feels good. I never thought throwing stuff away would feel so liberating.
