I don’t know about you, but whenever I cook a lobster I have a tinge of guilt. Their claws and little legs are trying to run for dear life as I plunge them into the pot. There’s got to be a way to calm them before they offer up a tasty dinner. And there is.

Put the raw lobster(s) into the freezer for about 15 minutes. By doing this, it chills them out. Literally. And when it’s time to stick them in the pot, they really don’t have a clue or a fear.
