The other day I came home from running errands and every single television in our house was turned on and tuned in to ESPN.
Every TV.
Sports blaring in the background, I walked from room to room looking for Sean, only to find him in the den, sitting on the couch and yes, you guessed it, watching ESPN.
Me: “Sean, what gives? What’s with all the TV’s on?”
Sean: “I had a few minutes to myself and I didn’t want to miss anything.”
Me: ” The sports news repeats every 20 minutes.”
Sean: “I know that. But maybe I want to hear the news more than once..”
Me: “Ok??”
Some things leave me shaking my head. Maybe this is how he feels when I obsess over a fabric pattern or wall color. But he kinda has me beat with all the TV’s on the same channel. A different approach to surround sound, I guess.
And in Keeping Fed this month:
I am so honored that the flag that I painted on our barn has gotten so much attention. My post about my flag project was featured on The Little Things.com which is an online magazine with millions of subscribers. I am so humbled and so grateful. You can read the article here.

A very good friend of mine, Jennifer Prudenti, wrote a book that was recently published. One Mother’s Journey: Creating My Family Through In Vitro Fertilization is about her perseverance and determination to get pregnant, beating the odds, and making her dreams come true. It is a great read, spoken straight from the heart. You can get it here.
