And we’re back.
Our favorite place in the world. A place where we visit every summer and take in the smells and sounds of the ocean. Where we seek tranquility and a much needed slow down.
Ahhh, Rhode Island, how we love you.
We arrived late afternoon on Saturday and by Sunday afternoon, we felt we had begun to decompress. Not just our family, but we as people put so much on ourselves that when we do take a vacation, we have a hard time turning our switches off and embracing the definition of decelerate. Send mind-racing thoughts out with the tide, and give a big bear hug to the art of dilly dally.
No big projects to work on here, but rather lots of fun to be had and recipes to master. A good book to get lost in, and taking an afternoon nap, just because we can.
I’m so happy to be here, and share our vacation with you. Our return to solace. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Be sure to follow me on Instagram and Pinterest for more of our vacation moments!

Great photos, again, and I like your phrase, the "art of dilly dally." So much pressure to get things done when most
important moments happen when not striving to accomplish. I enjoyed your post.
