Have you ever been driving and it occurs to you that you passed parts of your route that you don’t even remember passing? Then too, at that moment you think to yourself, “Wait. Where am I? Did I really pass that intersection? Geez, I hope I didn’t mozy through a red light.”

I call these moments Mr. Magoo moments, and I do have them more often than I’d like to admit. And quite frankly, some of the days in September have been total Mr. Magoo days. New schedules and busy agendas to iron out and finesse. That’s when a few minutes rocking in the rocking chair on the front porch is a good remedy. Now, if only I can remember to do that…
And in Keeping Fed..
I am so excited that Be Fed Again and Brooke’s House & Home will be featured at Mid-Hudson Marketplace. Mid-Hudson Marketplace is a show created to support home grown artists, makers, farmers, crafters, mom and pops, and pop up shops. I’ll have a beautiful booth set up and lots of give-aways to hand out. Come and see me and get inspired by the entire Marketplace! You can get all the info here.
And some random Keeping Fed:
Jimmy Fallon did it again. Check out his latest Barber Shop Quartet number. Hilarious!
Love this pumpkin patch wreath. I might just be making one for our front door. DIY found here.
I’m trying to plan ahead and stock our freezer for those hectic nights that need comfort. I made a batch of these Chicken Pot Pies. A family favorite. Once you’ve had one, you’re hooked!
And while I was in the mood for comfort, I snacked on one of these. Southern comfort at its finest.
This coming week, I’m starting to work on a huge project. Long time in the making, getting all the design, materials and where-with-all together. Here is a sneak peak. Stay tuned!!
Cheers to September and stepping into October. Thanks for Keeping Fed!!
