As all of you know, I love to harvest just about anything. I speak frequently about my garden and the vegetables I pick from there, but I also love going to other farms and harvesting things that I don’t have around here. Case in point, blueberries.
July is blueberry season and every year I head to a local farm about 5 minutes from here and pick blueberries. Last week, I tagged along with my dear friend, Vera, and her son Phillip. Surrounded by oodles and oodles of blueberries and stained fingers, slowly my bucket was filling. I say slowly, as pick one, eat four was my MO for the day. They were so good, so sweet, and with every berry I popped into my mouth, my mind was racing on what to make with these little yummies.
With all the different recipes I had floating around in my head, I was more inspired to create one blueberry recipe and use it in several ways. I wanted to make a simple recipe packed full of blueberry flavor and have that flavor enhance other dishes.
Blueberry Sauce was my answer.
With a hands on time of about 10 minutes, a versatile recipe was bottled up in a jar and ready for the possibilities. So, I made a Delicious Cheesecake drizzled with Blueberry Sauce.
Then I decided to make a Blueberry Wine Spritzer. Heavenly.
I drizzled Blueberry Sauce over grilled chicken. Over ice cream. Over cut cantaloupe for breakfast. I even drizzled this delicious sauce over a white pizza. Sounds a little odd, but OMG, it was mind-blowing. Delish!
So, without further adieu, here are three recipes for you to enjoy!

All of these sound amazing. I had blueberry sauce on white pizza with basil on it once and it was spectacular! Now I want to try it on watermelon!
