March 2021

  • Is it just me, or does March seem like a realllllly long month? It almost seems like a confused month: one that keeps holding on to winter, and one that is itching for spring to arrive along with warmer temps. No leaves on the trees yet, but certainly the promise of buds. It’s this sight that gets me jazzed and after what seems like a year long winter, I’m ready to pump up the jam.

Let’s look at March and see all of the inspiration and ideas I’ve found for you! I’ve got some goodies, along with a mic drop recipe!

  • Although it’s officially spring, those freezing nightly temps are still holding on around here. That means that we won’t see daffodils outdoors for a few more weeks.

    But……

No need to wail until then!!

Wouldn’t it be lovely to force daffodil bulbs in time for Mother’s Day?! Start planting now and you’ll have these beauties blooming in time for Mother’s Day. Let me show you how!

  • For years, I have been baking quiches. Thing is, they’re so easy to make and you can include so many different ingredients in a quiche. I mean, seriously. Have you ever heard of a kitchen sink cookie? Well, same goes for a quiche. If there’s a veg that is close to expiring in your fridge, then by all means, add it to a quiche.

Let’s make quiche! On Cook with Brooke, I’m going to show you just how easy it is to bake a quiche, and  everything you can include in the recipe, along with a video to watch!!

  • Are you a soup lover like me? I believe I could eat soup every day of the week. I dig it. One of my favorite soups is Chicken and Wild Rice, and believe me when I tell you that my recipe is the best one out there. It’s full of flavor and brightness with a secret ingredient that totally ups the ante on this soup recipe.

This might just be the best Chicken and Wild Rice soup you’ll ever have. And the best part about it? You made it yourself from my recipe.
