New year, fresh start, is what I like to live by, and that doesn’t necessarily mean resolutions. I’m not talking weight loss here, but creating a way of life that is easier on yourself and your family.
That’s where organization comes into play. With society becoming more and more time-poor, I firmly believe one of the reasons is because we don’t have our lives set up to go smoothly. Money, karma and all that aside, it’s organization that helps life go right. Having things in their proper place, or a place that works well for everyone in your household gives back some of that time that we all are lacking and want to get back. Trust me on this. A tidy house eliminates the grouse.
I’m kicking off a month long DIY Dutchess series on organization, starting with ideal tips for organizing your mudroom / coat area. Even if you don’t have a mudroom in your house, you certainly have an area / closet for coats. And too, I share ideas that are totally budget friendly and absolutely affordable.
This week’s video has a very clever tip on how to hang scarves and take a look at how curtain holdbacks come into play for coats!! Genius tips, for sure. You can watch the video here!
So join me! It’s time to get organized and help your life go smoothly and make sense!!
