I have a few tricks and tips up my sleeve, hence the weekly post of QTF. But sometimes, I stumble upon really great and clever tips that I absolutely must share.

This tip is genius.
Simply cut around the spout of an empty cardboard drink container the size of the top of your selected jar. Secure by tightening the ringed lid and you’re golden.
I mix my vinaigrette in a jar, but then I always end up using a spoon to pour over salads because the wide mouth of the jar causes me to pour it on too heavy. Not any more. This solution allows me to pour my vinaigrette evenly over the salad, never drowning my greens.
The is also a clever solution for pouring smaller nuts and seeds such as pine nuts, sunflower seeds and sesame seeds.
This is the most clever pour ever!
