In my opinion, the most important tool in the kitchen, is a chef’s knife. Hands down, bar none. I have owned a few and have strong opinions on all, but this one is King. Here’s why: the handle fits comfortably in the hand with its cylinder shape. When cutting, I feel good control, and preciseness. The blade stays sharp and can julienne the finest of herbs. Very important. Whenever we travel and reserve an AirBNB, I bring along this knife. That’s how important it is to my cooking.
My go-to, stir everything and scrap everything tool is my rubber spatula. I’ve had mine for 10 years and counting. I use it to stir everything from crisping up bacon, to folding in delicate beaten egg whites. I’ve tried them all, this one is Brooke’s Best Bet.
We used to go through can openers like salt through a goose. Now that I have found this can opener, it’s a whole new wold. Easy to use, my wrists aren’t screaming after I’ve opened a can, and it makes the most clean cuts. I would give this can opener 5 out of 5 stars.
