Shrimp Cocktail

- 1 pound (large size) shrimp
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 Tablespoon horse radish
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
Instructions
- FOR THE COCKTAIL SAUCE:
- In a mixing bowl, combine ketchup, horse radish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Stir well to combine. Place in serving bowl and set aside.
- FOR THE SHRIMP:
- Peel and devein shrimp. Bring a large sauce pot of water to a boil. Add shrimp and cook on medium for 2 minutes. Drain shrimp and rinse under cold water until cool to the touch.
- To serve, place shrimp on a large plate with cocktail sauce. Or, you can also serve shrimp cocktail as pictured above, in iced shot glasses. Place a spoonful of cocktail sauce in the bottom of the iced glass and line the top of the ice with shrimp. Enjoy immediately.
