There’s something about the Superbowl that even the most-far-from-fan, enjoys. I’ve been taught and counseled on how to play and the rules of football, and to be completely honest, it all goes in one ear and out the other. I pretty much know that the guy has to run with the ball down the field and into the end zone. I’m totally fine just knowing the gist.
Like everyone else, I look forward to the commercials, either laughing with them or damn near crying – anything with a puppy and a horse making friends will tug at my heart every time. But this year, I feel I’ve seen them all, if not most. A lot of the “sneak peeks” were shown all week long and if I really wanted to, I could go on YouTube and check them out. Still, I’m hopeful I’ll be surprised with a good laugh.
Let’s talk the halftime show for a sec. Now this, I’m totally stoked for! (read this with an Oprah excited tone and my hands in the air). I love Justin Timberlake. Wicked talented guy and his songs are happy ones. Now his performance insights have been hush hush, and I can only expect that the show will be amaze-balls, as the Little Miss would say.
So, may the best team win!! I tend to root for the underdog, so today I’ll be wearing some green and spreading my wings. Fly like an Eagle……
