For as long as I hoped, planned and designed my garden house, now that it is built, I have made up for that ten fold as far as time well spent. I’m grateful for it and all that, of course, but it has truly become my go-to place to think about ideas and just do everything associated with the true premise of the garden house. Pot and plant, entertain, and yes, escape. My respite.

My love of an old farmhouse, and decorating an old house like this for Christmas, stems way back to the early 90’s. It was when Martha Stewart Living Magazine first launched, and shortly after that, her television show. I taped every episode on my VCR, and had an impressive video library, along with saving every single issue.
