The countdown is on! Thanksgiving is next week and I cannot wait to cook up a storm, pack my stomach with delicious food, and then plop on the couch and fall asleep.
The day starts early for me. I wake up early, cook breakfast. We watch the parade, then I start cooking the big feast. I eat, and eat and eat and I’m always amazed at just how much I can pack into my tummy. It’s the one day where I can pack in the food and feel nothing but pure happiness about it.
But before we eat, we must do the prep work, and it starts with thawing your turkey.
