Turkey Pate'

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups cubed leftover turkey
  • 3 Tablespoons butter
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup cashews
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped sage
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1/3 cup asiago cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Melt butter in a skillet and add turkey and garlic.  Cook until turkey is heated through.  Stir in cashews.  Remove from heat and let cool.
  • Transfer mixture to a food processor.  Add mayo, cheese, sage and hot sauce, and process until smooth.  Transfer to a small bowl.  Cover with plastic wrap and chill at least 2 hours or overnight.
  • To serve, transfer pate to platter and shape into a loaf.  Serve with crackers or party toast.
