Turkey Pate'
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups cubed leftover turkey
- 3 Tablespoons butter
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/2 cup cashews
- 1 Tablespoon chopped sage
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1/3 cup asiago cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Melt butter in a skillet and add turkey and garlic. Cook until turkey is heated through. Stir in cashews. Remove from heat and let cool.
- Transfer mixture to a food processor. Add mayo, cheese, sage and hot sauce, and process until smooth. Transfer to a small bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and chill at least 2 hours or overnight.
- To serve, transfer pate to platter and shape into a loaf. Serve with crackers or party toast.
