Of all of the remodels we have completed here in the 1820, our master bathroom remodel is my favorite. Keeping with the original footprint, I designed a chic and modern bathroom that proves that small is definitely mighty. This bathroom went from sad and nasty to Hello Fab-U-Lous! I can’t wait for you to see all of the before and after photos! Come on in and see!!

As you may have guessed, it’s a little drafty here in the 1820. I’ve mentioned several times that we’re slowly installing insulation, as there was very little when we moved in, and taking the steps to make this old house more run more efficiently. There’s nothing wrong with wanting a lot of bang for your buck, shopping around and buying something that can wear a lot of hats, so to speak. We can also throw in the word, frugal. This applies here as well.
When the holiday season rolls around, I start pulling out all of our decorations; this of course brings me tons of joy. However, there are some holiday decorations that come with a larger price tag, or are just too pretty to display for a few short weeks, that I would like to be able to use all year around.
I’m sharing my top 5 holiday decorations you can use all year long.
