Reveal Day at Brooke’s Garden House has finally arrived!

We were down to the wire, completing every last project and designing every last detail, and I’m here to say that all the hard work paid off.

The Garden House came out amazing and I can’t wait to show you the reveal!

This past week was hard core here at Brooke’s Garden House. We worked well after dusk, ever mindful of a looming, yet hopeful deadline, brining us into Episode 9.

The fact that we just want the build done so we can enjoy every square inch of the garden house is certainly true. Still, this build is no different than any other, whether big or small; little issues pop up where time wasn’t allotted, requiring a re-org.

Nature of the beast, I tell myself.

The most amazing news with all of this – The reveal is next Monday!!

FOR REAL!!

But for now, let’s talk about all that we accomplished this past week, to make next week really happen. Let’s dive into Episode 9 of Brooke’s Garden House.

Have you ever cried and laughed at the same time? Like, crying tears of joy, and laughing because you’re so happy? Or, maybe you’re laughing because you’re trying to cover up the fact that you’re crying? Whatever the reason, it doesn’t make a lot of sense, but please tell me this has happened to you.

Well, I’ve done a whole lotta that this week, working on the garden house. Stuff is getting done, and the Brooke is like, Heck Yeah!!! It’s surreal, really. On one hand I can’t believe something I have thought about and dreamed about for so many years, is finally being built. And then, my eyes are watering to the point where I was worried my contacts would float out, because, well, I’m so dang happy.

The footings have been secured for my garden house, and I could not be more elated!

We’re cooking with gas, folks! RTB stopped by to hang with us for the day, and secure the concrete footings for the garden house. And, although one would think – and I market myself a research queen – that this project would take, maybe, a half day tops, would actually take a full day.

A long day.

Like a lunch, snack and dinner type of day with a few 15-minute breaks stuffed in.
