Halloween is a week from tomorrow and I couldn’t be more excited.
All that creepy decor that the kids have placed around our house.
All that candy that is about to consume our pantry, and the Almond Joy’s that will get tossed on my desk.
……And I’m being facetious.
Truly.
Halloween isn’t my favorite of holiday’s, as I gravitate more to pretty rather than creepy, but I did stumble upon a cute craft that is quick and fun to stash in your bushes to peep at your trick-or-treaters.
Enter today’s Quick Tip Friday.
Save a few of your toilet paper and paper towel cardboard rolls. Cut holes the size and shape of eyes. Snap 2-3 glow sticks to light them up, and place them inside the cardboard roll. Tape the ends of the roll with dark tape to keep the glowing light inside. Place the glowing roll(s) within your bushes to peep at those trick-or-treaters.
I’ve made a few that I have standing by for said creepy holiday, and will place them in the bushes leading up to our front door.
I may be a little bah humbug-y when it comes to Halloween, but this craft was too fun to pass up.
Open them peepers.
Enjoy today’s Quick Tip Friday.
