While at Haven (bloggers conference) earlier this month, everyone was given goodie bags overflowing with products. And let me tell you, it was like Christmas in August! There were a few items in there that I already have in my tool collection, and there were some things that I totally needed whether it was tools or small accessories.
Unloading the bag, I uncovered this Moen© hook and I was wicked jazzed. Loved it and knew exactly where I wanted to hang it.
In our half bath downstairs, I did have a fancy hook that had an “F” in the middle, but no matter how many times I tightened the screw and secured it with a molly, the hook spun around in full circles, left marks on the wall, and towels never really stayed on there. So, out with the old in with the sleek.
Here’s where I get all geeked out. Hanging this hook couldn’t be easier because it has two tiny ink dots on the back. All you have to do it figure out where on the wall you want to hang it, place the hook in that spot and press. Pull the hook away and there are the dots on the wall. No tape measure, no math.
Drill holes on the dots, screw in the hook plate, then hang the hook.
It’s the brilliant idea of those little dots that make this how-to easy breezy. The hook is snug on the wall, no spinning around. And, it’s a really good looking hook.
Sometimes, it’s the little things that bring the best function to a room. Thanks, Moen©!
