I don’t know about y’all, but I have some serious spring fever going on. We’ve had a tiny taste of spring temps and that’s triggered me into spring cleaning and gardening and crafting mode.
I’m not complaining one bit. Here in the Northeast, it may be a tease of what’s to come, but we’ll really reap the benefits of what’s to come the end of April. Just the same, I’m present and welcoming these warmer temperatures, even if for the time being. My arms are open.
Something about spring gives me a serious umph of energy and verve and kick starts my up-and-em. It boosts my creative juices and inspires me to not rush to get something done, but rather to sit for a minute and let my hands do the navigating. A lesson I need to keep reminding myself to allow.
With all this creative juice running through my veins, I immediately turned to a small project that gives me so much joy; setting a table. I love to putter around and set one, not limiting myself to time nor any constraints. Just me and the dishes. And the flatware. And the centerpiece. And the fine details like a super cute napkin ring to tie the entire tablesetting together.
Yes! Yes, now we’re getting somewhere.
I was doing just this, creating a tablescape that would be a beautiful one for both Easter and all of the spring season, and I zeroed in on the napkin ring. That extra detail that almost navigates the tablesetting and drives that eye-catching charm. I dug around in my napkin ring inventory and was pretty much coming up empty. I needed to make a new one for my inventory.

Are Napkin Rings Still Used?
There I was, in our kitchen, going to town on a new tablescape when I decided that folding a napkin just wouldn’t cut it. Every placesetting needed a napkin ring, so naturally I turned to creating my own. Ignore the voices of those that brush off the importance of a napkin ring! Napkin rings will never go “out of style.”
As I normally do when I ponder such DIY projects, I started referring to my visual memory rolodex, and like a slot machine, it landed all three on a jute Pottery Barn napkin ring that I had seen in their catalog years ago. A simple ring that was wrapped in jute twine or rope. That’s all. But it was pretty, and not only screamed spring, but nautical design as well. Two of my very favorite things!

Super Cute DIY Napkin Rings For Spring And Easter
Here Are The 3 Supplies You Will Need:
The DIY is super simple. Just simply wrap the twin around the shower curtain ring, periodically placing a dab of hot glue on the surface of the ring to secure as you go. Hold the twin tightly, making sure there are no gaps on the ring. Hot glue the end to secure, then move on to the next ring.
I wish I could write this more elaborately than it is (and for Google’s search analytics sake), but this spring craft is truly this simple. And the end result is amazing! Each ring took me around 3 minutes to make. Super simple.
