Nine times out of ten, whenever I crack an egg, some of the shell gets in the bowl.
I’m a little squeamish with eggs, and anything else on the slimy side, for that matter. So, going in with my fingers and chasing a shell around that really wants to stay put, isn’t really on my list of favorite things.
I have found a solution to quickly get that shell out with zero frustration.
Enter today’s Quick Tip Friday.
If it does happen that a piece or two of egg shell stick with the egg, all you need to do is wet your fingers with running water. Only takes a sec.
With your wet finger, just touching the shell makes it stick and you pull it out, like presto.
No more chasing the shell around and sliding it up the side of the bowl.
Zip zip and you’re done.
