Since fabric softener and dryer sheets can strip towels of their absorbency, I was left with trying to come up with a method to stave the static from my laundry.
As it turns out, my solution is a method that I use when I dry our comforters.
Enter today’s Quick Tip Friday.
The solution is to throw a few new and clean tennis balls into your dryer. They eliminate static electricity, and make fabrics soft, eliminating the need for dryer sheets.
And, when you are drying comforters or heavy filled blankets, tennis balls help distribute the filling and keep it from clumping together.
Who knew tennis balls would be such an ace for your dryer!
Enjoy today’s Quick Tip Friday!

Brooke this is such a great idea! I’ve never tried it but it definitely seems like a better solution than all those dyer sheets. Thanks so much for the tip! Hugs, Coco

That’s a great tip! I don’t like the scent of softeners and dryer sheets. We do use tennis balls for our down filled comforters and throws etc, but never thought to use them with towels!
Thanks for sharing!
