Do you like to keep your metals like silver, brass and copper looking shined and at their best? Here is the best metal polish on the planet!
When I venture into thrift stores, I’m a sucker for all things tarnished.
Copper. Brass. Sterling silver. Silver plated. I’m all in, especially wherever a bowl in concerned. Or a platter. Or a candlestick. Or even some water goblets. You get it..
And as much as I like to set a beautiful table, I am equally happy to polish up a piece, and turn that tarnish into a shine. I truly enjoy polishing, even if the piece requires a lot of elbow grease.
Bring on the razzle dazzle.
With my fondness of these metals, their price tag can be hefty especially when shopping for new. But when venturing into thrift stores regularly, you can find some banged up and tarnished pieces that, when they’re polished, are beautiful.
Pretty much all of my silver, brass and copper, I found at thrift stores or have been handed down from my Mama, some looking like they were on their last leg. And collectively, all of the thrifted pieces cost me less than $20, yet after they have been polished, they look like a million bucks.
I have to share with you my go to, very favorite polish that I absolutely swear by. It’s called Peek and it is the best metal polish on the planet. It costs a little bit more than its competitors, but this product is worth its weight in gold. Believe me, I’ve tried every polish out there, and Peek is the best. Check it out here.
Let’s face it. We all don’t have a bottomless budget, but with catching a tarnished break at a thrift store and polishing it up to its beautiful glory, no one would be the wiser. Except you.
Hopefully this will inspire you to save those old tarnished pieces, polish them up and let them be a dazzling addition to your table setting.
