Ever dab excess paint off your paint brush, and end up getting more paint dripping over the sides of the can rather than back in the can?
Happens to me all the time. And, since I am painting something almost weekly, I’m always looking for ways to keep my job process clean and more effective. When I saw this idea online, I thought I would give it a try.
Enter today’s Quick Tip Friday.
Turns out this tip is not only effective, but genius. All you have to do is take a rubber band and place it over your paint can, centering it in the middle. This works as the perfect line to remove the excess paint from the brush.
All the paint goes back into the paint can rather than all over the sides, and the paint can stays clean.
Seems extra rubber bands are always laying around somewhere. Put them to use and wrap the paint can to help keep paint in the can.
Genius.
