I think y’all know me well enough to know that my middle name should be Resourceful. I say this with pride because not only do I need to be, but I really like being resourceful. There’s nothing wrong with wanting a lot of bang for your buck, shopping around and buying something that can wear a lot of hats, so to speak. We can also throw in the word, frugal. This applies here as well.
When the holiday season rolls around, I start pulling out all of our decorations; this of course brings me tons of joy. However, there are some holiday decorations that come with a larger price tag, or are just too pretty to display for a few short weeks, that I would like to be able to use all year around. Want to know which ones are my favorite all year decorations?

5 Holiday Decorations You Can Use All Year Around
I have a good list of holiday decorations that I display all year, and I have done the searching and the shopping for you. Here are 5 of my decor ideas.
Double Ball Topiary
I love these topiaries because they look wonderful placed in a large pot on either side of a door. To secure them in a large pot, I place bricks or rocks around the topiary to secure it, and then I add mulch around the top of the pot to make it look like a real plant. These topiaries look fabulous all year, and they don’t fade in the sunlight. During the holidays, you can add a red bow or any themed bow for that matter, and then remove it when the holidays are over.
Bulb Globe String Lights
As far as a strand of string lights are concerned, these are my absolute favorite. Why? Because they are not holiday specific. These beauties can be hung around your deck, or if you have a pergola, hang them in a zig zag to give a glow to a summer evening. Hang these bulb globe string lights around your porch, or on low tree branches hanging over a picnic table. I have a strand hanging on the front of our chicken coop to up the cute factor even more. The hens love the lights. Me too. These lights are classic and are a year round decoration at its finest. Can’t go wrong.
Boxwood Preserved Mini Wreath
This cutie looks great hanging on dining room chairs, or anywhere for that matter, but it also looks amazing surrounding a large pillar candle. For a spring or summer table setting where green is the magic number (or color), line the center of the table with these wreaths, placing a white pillar candle in the middle of each wreath. You can even leave them hanging on the back of the chairs, because who says you can’t. Preserved boxwood mini wreaths are a good buy where you’ll get a lot of bang for your buck. Or in this case, four seasons of decor.
White Pillar LED Candles
Candles are mainly associated with the holidays, but for someone like me, I light candles every single evening. I love the warm glow of candlelight, and the comfort that candles make me feel. Placed together in groupings makes a gorgeous statement, and one that is welcomed all year long. The best part about my favorite white pillar candles? They’re LED, so they last a long time, and there’s no need to worry about melted wax everywhere. Brands have really perfected the LED candle, creating them to look like they’re burning a real flame. These candles are a win / win in my book!
Clear Glass Ball Ornaments
To me, clear glass is elegant simplicity. Neutral yet stunning, so it’s no secret that I use a lot of clear glass ball ornaments in my holiday decor. I also use these glass ornaments all year long. They look gorgeous tightly attached to a small branch of a tree or on a taller house plant. They almost look like floating bubbles. They even add so much ambiance just on their own, displayed in a bowl or dish, sitting on a side table. Add them to a moss-lined bowl, even, for a gorgeous garden themed centerpiece.
