Hopefully, your Christmas shopping is done and your gifts are almost wrapped. Always the last minute hustle and bustle – I’m so guilty of that.
With all the energy and verve of Christmas; all good tidings from Santa to be received; all the gifts to be opened, Christmas day goes by in a flash. Although gratefulness abounds, by the time Christmas night begins to appear, there’s a slight feeling of disenchant. A little bit of a bummer that Christmas is coming to a close.
Enter today’s Quick Tip Friday.
I’m sharing my solution, a fun tradition that we have been keeping here in our family, and a tradition that I grew up with.
Save one present to be opened Christmas night, just before bedtime. I don’t even put this present under the tree. I wrap it (them), tuck them in a hiding spot, and then bring them out just as the day is starting to quiet. A smaller present will do. One more for the road. One last present to look forward to.
After the love and laughter, the hectic and the heed, this Quick Tip definitely succeeds!
Enjoy today’s Quick Tip Friday!

This is a fun idea. We open most presents on Christmas Eve morning and just save a few for Christmas Day. 🙂
