Just like last year, we have been nurturing our garden and waiting with baited breath to start harvesting the fruits of our labor.  And for what seems like forever (one month) our garden has started to produce fruit.  Well, so far just sugar snap peas, but I did spot a couple green tomatoes on the vine just this morning.

And speaking of mornings, I have a gardening tip for you that is a great rule of thumb to go by.

Enter today’s Quick Tip Friday.

Ever wonder when is the best time to pick your fruits and vegetables from your garden?

Turns out the best time to harvest is early in the morning because your fruits and vegetables are crispest then and will store better and stay fresh longer.  Also, try and harvest daily to keep the plants productive.

So, even if you aren’t a morning person, you may need to change your tune for best results in your garden.
