Keeping up with my promise of sharing my favorite Thanksgiving recipes, I would be remiss if I didn’t share my Ultimate Roasted Turkey recipe.
This recipe is a family recipe that my mama followed every Thanksgiving. Now believe me, I have tried several different recipes and cooking methods. I’ve fried turkeys, I’ve smoked turkeys, and I’ve roasted turkeys every which way, but this family recipe that I have slightly enhanced, is the ultimate.

And to go with my tried and true, delicious and juicy turkey, I’m making Cranberry Chutney.
Yes, of course I buy the canned cranberry sauce, and yes, I do my best to keep that can shape. But, I also make this Cranberry Chutney that is so superior to the canned stuff. Not only is it delicious accompanying turkey on your fork, but it’s also very tasty as a topping on cheddar cheese over a cracker. And, it’s delicious spooned over a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Very versatile and very delicious. Please do make this Cranberry Chutney!

Love the idea of the chutney on fracker with cheese! Bet you could do a delicious baked Brie too!
