I love the smell of an afternoon summer rain, don’t you?  Such a fresh and summer-y smell.  A smell that seems to put me at ease a little bit.  It’s nice.

And speaking of rain, kids says the darndest things.  Two evenings ago, Caroline said to me, “Mommy, you have some funny veins on your forehead.  I think that means it’s going to rain.”

I called and made an appointment with my Dermatologist, STAT.
