Give me an excuse, any excuse, to design a table setting and I’ll take it. I’m all in. I learned this from my sweet Mama. Days out of a holiday, she would set a gorgeous table, tweaking here and there along the way. I loved watching her and took in all of her advice and ideas just like a sponge. All of her joy in designing a pretty table setting rubbed off on me, and here I am, never letting a table lay naked. Always dressed with a modern mix of plates and linens, with lots of play on patterns. Sometimes the table is just on display; still, it’s decorated one way or another, with Mama deep in my heart.
