Did any of you wake up this morning and your house smelled like there was still a turkey in the oven?
We did. In fact, our house smelled like the entire Thanksgiving dinner.
I have a solution for this.
Enter today’s Quick Tip Friday.
I first wrote about this good smelling stuff last December, and I feel today it has earned an honorable reprise.
Add these ingredients to a saucepan of water, and simmer on low, adding more water as necessary.
And your house will say goodbye to the turkey smells, and hello to this simmering-good-smelling-stuff. It really is a cure-all for all smells that have outstayed their welcome.

Hi. What are those ingredients?

Hello and Happy Thanksgiving!
All you do is cut up the ginger, stick in some cinnamon sticks and whole cloves; add some water, and you’re good to go. Simmer on the stove, and keep adding water as it evaporates. You can also add orange peels, whole allspice, and star anise. It all would be great. And this holiday smell will swell in your home.
