Remember last week when I showed you the beginning stages of our kitchen transformation?

And how painting the mantle blue sparked all the changes.

Since this project began, our kitchen was completely out of sorts.
I had cabinet doors on tables. My espresso maker was in the den. Stuff was everywhere.

And the guys weren’t really adapting to change as well as us girls. Mac asked me if I was “ever going to stop painting stuff,” and Sean tried to tell me subtly that the kitchen was a little on the bright side to him in the morning.

But now that the kitchen is painted and looking clean and fresh and bright, the guys are digging it as much as us girls.

I’m happy that I finally painted the woodwork and the trim.

The white really does brighten up our kitchen, even in the evenings. Such a welcome change and allows my contacts to not work quite so hard.

It’s amazing what a can (or 5) of paint can do. A total kitchen transformation that cost less than $200.

I’m really happy with how the white and grey color scheme turned out. Clean and bright and airy.

A project that took me 3 weeks to complete, but worth every minute.
