After collecting, painting, saving and storing, my office has finally come alive.

As you remember from this post, I took over the living room since we only really used it at Christmastime.

Turns out, this room is perfect.  Lots of light shines in the windows all day long, which is so important in any design area.

There is plenty of space for all of my furniture, and for the room to be set up with a design area and work area.

As my design table is situated between 2 windows, I can look outside and soak up inspiration.

You know the famous quote “Nobody puts Baby in the corner”?   Well I did think of that, but I wanted my desk in the corner so I could see my office rather than placing my desk facing a wall.

I am so happy to finally have my own space, and not be spread out between the kitchen, the dining room table, and our bedroom.

Now I’ve got to get to work!
