Everyone says that the kitchen is the busiest area in their home. I can’t say I disagree, as it is in our home as well. But one place that may be even busier is our pantry. All four of us are in and out of that area countless times a day. Let’s face it, we’ve gotta eat, and with two growing kiddos and a couple of parents that have a slight snacking issue, the pantry gets a lot of traffic.
My month-long series on organizing is really inspired by our pantry. When I walked in to grab whatever it was I needed, I walked out with a bruised hip and ego. The floor was filled with things that needed to be put away, but no room to do so. My fall had to have looked comical, but felt like nothing of the sort.
Enough is enough. Time for a organized pantry strategy.
That’s exactly what I’m sharing with you this week on my month-long organizing series. My DIY Dutchess video and column this week is all about sharing very helpful and clever tips on how to organize your pantry, and keep it organized! I also show you a way to keep your cabinets organized, too. With the help of a few office supplies, your pantry and cabinets will be organized in no time, and stay organized!
I need a day to organize my pantry…thanks for the inspiration!!!
Great idea. Winter is a good time for cleaning out the pantry. Honestly I have a huge problem for holding onto way too much junk. Popping over to see your video.
i have a great idea. What if I just send you a round trip ticket and you come out here to help me? My pantry is such a terrible mess. It looks like a earthquake hit it. I mean honestly it is a disaster. Any ideas how to get the gumption to tackle an impossible job?
Need some inspiration to get me going and this will do it.
Thanks
Maria
