What a month November was. It was busy, and that seems to be the norm. I’ll settle for a slow down in January, but for now, we’re in high gear.
I don’t know about you guys, but I’m still full from Thanksgiving. Sean and I cooked and ate all day long, and around 10 p.m. I was grateful for the bottle of Tums sitting next to my bed. But I have digressed. Onward.
Today is small business Saturday, and I encourage all of you to shop local and support your local businesses. Speaking of keeping local, there is a home in Dutchess county that has the largest Christmas light display in the world. It’s the ERDJAT Christmas House. Last year they were second to Australia, but are reclaiming their title again this year. Every dollar the family raises goes to charity. So awesome. Check them out here.
And in other random Keeping Fed notes:
The Holderness family did it again. Watch this hilarious Thanksgiving video.
In keeping up with my cookbook collection, I just bought this cookbook, and I love it.
We received our first snow fall of the season, and as inconvenient as snow can be, it sure is pretty. Our barn served as a great backdrop to the snow falling, and the kids and Hudson were in their element.
I’ve been decorating for Christmas around here for about a month, so I can bring you many ideas and inspiration in your holiday decorating. Stay tuned for Monday’s post, kicking off the Be Fed Again Holiday House. In the meantime, enjoy this sneak peak.
Thanks for Keeping Fed everyone!
