Recipes and game day favorites for the Super Bowl. I’ve got you covered for favorite game day foods.
Around here, the Superbowl is just an excuse to eat comforting bar food.
Well, let me adjust that: Sean is all about watching the game from beginning to end, but us other three are kinda like, whatevs. We’ll just eat. However, this year is different only because there’s two wicked talented Quarterbacks playing. (I receive all my news from our local sports broadcaster. How else would I know they’re good?)
I’ll stay tuned for the first half.
Regardless of watching the game and commercials, let’s just celebrate the nosh. I mean, who doesn’t like a wide variety of comforting bar food?!
I share these recipes almost yearly, and I have to say that this post is always one of my reader’s favorites. Perhaps the big game is an excuse to forgive the diet for a day. Maybe it’s because all the football fans like a good wing recipe or a delicious cheesesteak. Regardless, here are 5 of my most popular game day favorite recipes.
This is just a given. Football + Finger Food = Buffalo Chicken Wings
Finger lickin’ good.
If you’re in the mood for a sandwich, but not a big one, then by all means, make this Mini Philly Cheesesteak! Perfect game day food.
Let’s talk SOUP!
YOU get soup! And YOU get soup!
Beer Cheese Soup! This is gooooooood stuff! If you’ve been following my blog for even five minutes, you know that I love soup. This soup recipe is ridiculous!!

And for those that start game day with an honored drink, how about the Manmosa! You’ve got the beer, and a little Vitamin C to top it off, it’s delish. Whether drinking it for brunch or during the game, it’s the field goal of drinks.
So buckle up, buttercup! It’s game on! Let’s make some delicious eats and enjoy the game, the commercials, and these delicious eats!!
