There’s something about the ocean that keeps me in deep thought. The ocean is such a calming salve to me and when I look out, I see poetry and serenity.
We arrived in Boothbay Harbor last evening. We drove in torrential rain most of the way here, and it has been raining ever since.
The conversation in the car was fluid, and one of the things we talked about at length was the Proust questionnaire. It’s a questionnaire about one’s personality, and was made popular by Marcel Proust, who answered the survey when he was 12, then again when he was in his 20’s. To this day, Vanity Fair Magazine publishes the survey every month, answered by a different celebrity. So I thought I would answer only a few of the questions here, and invite you to think about how you would answer the questions. You can click here for the entire questionnaire.

I agree. There is something so calming about the ocean, and looking out over water. Most of my vacations are tropical or are near water!
