I’m joined with millions when I say that directly after Thanksgiving, I go into Holiday baking mode. I love to bake delicious sweets, or happies as I like to call them, to give out to friends, neighbors, coworkers, and hostesses.
But this year is a little different. I’m behind the eight ball, yet my intentions are still in the prime. Not enough time to change up my baking wish list with a new item or two, I’m sticking to a couple of my very popular, tried and true treats.
People go crazy, er, Whoopie for my Whoopie Pies. Chocolate cake with peppermint buttercream, I can’t say I blame them. Fun to eat, delicious, and look festive displayed on the holiday happy platter. Don’t blink though, because they’ll be gone. Recipe found here.
Making a classy appearance, White Chocolate Bark with Pistachios and Cranberries bares the colors and flavors of the holidays. Shards of bark wrapped in individual clear bags, tied in pretty ribbon is a pretty and delicious gift to give anyone. The best part is, this bark only looks complicated to make. The simple and elegant recipe can be found here.

Great ideas, I get stale doing the same things every year. So the two on your post are certainly “in” on my cooking list. Thanks
