The cubes of butternut squash add a sweetness that pairs perfectly with the asparagus.

Baby, it’s not cold outside, but it is a little chilly. That’s why my Be Fed Chili recipe makes it on my go-to weeknight recipes list. It’s quick and easy, and comfort food at it’s finest. Let the crock pot do the cooking tonight. Who isn’t into a fix it and forget it meal?! I use my crockpot on a weekly basis, and knowing I can turn out this hearty classic reigns high on our list. With all of the Korean-style ingredients, the recipe combines sweet and savory all at the same time. Who doesn’t like someone else, or in this case, a crockpot, doing the cooking for you. A meal that takes all day to cook, and your hands-on prep time is minimal, the ease and flavor say it all.

Homemade Marinara Sauce Over Spaghetti
Because pasta alone should be its own food group. I do try to cut down on sugar and carbs, but on a cheat day, I eat spaghetti. I love it. And my homemade marinara sauce is easy. I use my quick tip of simmering a parmesan rind in the sauce to really give the sauce that cheesy, nutty flavor that only parmesan cheese can give. Pair this dish with a green salad, and you’re golden.

Chicken Paillards With Pineapple Salsa
This recipe is a year round favorite around here. We grill even in the winter months, and since you can find fresh pineapple all year now, this recipe is on constant rotation.
